There’s been an intensive period of rehearsal for both Honiton Players production of ‘When Holmes met Watson’ and Honiton Community Theatre’s ‘Over the Sledge’ variety show, which opens next weekend 4th & 5th Dec, great to have two very different local productions here.
Things are really revving up for Christmas, with bookings for parties, and our annual supper bash with Big band, Area 52 guaranteed to get you on the dance floor after a delicious home made supper and glass of fizz on Friday 18th Dec. So frock up and rock up, only two tables left!

We are delighted to have a very special visitor to the Beehive in between the shows of Defrosted, Santa is coming with his Elf in order to find out what the children would like for Xmas. We appreciate that this is getting dangerously close to the big day but he has a ridiculously busy schedule so we are extremely lucky to have him here.
Something for adults as a Christmas treat is ‘Mad Dog Mcrea’, we are very excited to have them here on Tuesday 22nd Dec as one reviewer accurately said ‘this is rowdy, heartfelt, room-shaking & spirit-stirring music that only the dead can’t enjoy’
Book these guys quickly though, as tickets are whizzing out of the box office.
In amongst all of these events are showings of ‘Spectre’ 7.30pm on Sat 12th Dec and 2 showings of ‘The Lady in the Van’ on Sat 19th Dec at 3pm & 7.30pm in the Beehive Cinema. The Beehive Tea dance is also on Friday 11th Dec and the Folk café on Weds 9th Dec. A big welcome must go to Ian Browne as our newly appointed Customer services and operations manager, his great sense of humour; enthusiasm and commitment to his new role are already very much in evidence!
