Following the fabulous Philip Clouts Quartet event at the beginning of May, we are pleased to announce that pianist Philip is returning to The Beehive for a series of gigs with special guests.
The first guest we welcome on Saturday May 17th is saxophone player Tony Roberts. Tony has played with many jazz artists including John Dankworth, Humphrey Littleton, Kenny Wheeler and Ian Carr, and has also collaborated with ‘Pentangle’ bassist Danny Thompson and Miles Davis’ guitarist John McLaughlin.
The music starts at 8pm. A pre-show supper is available from 6.30 to 7.30pm. Come and enjoy some original pieces and some well loved tunes from the jazz repertoire.
The Jazz Café events will take place in the Beehive café/bar, where seating is limited so please book in advance, particularly if you wish to make an evening of it and order a delicious supper for only £7.
