Honiton’s local branch of The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) are to have their monthly meetings at The Beehive.
Guest speakers attend each month and give illustrated talks on a variety of subjects under the general heading of decoration, design, gardens, fine art, etc. In addition there is also a variety of organised day and away visits throughout the season. The next events are:
Tuesday 13th May 2014, The Life & Times of the Sundial; a perspective on civilization’s most enduring Timekeeper, by Kevin Karney
Tuesday 10th June 2014, The Agony and the Ecstasy – the sculpture and sonnets of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel, by Shirley Smith
