Public demonstration of new audio assistance system

10.30 am Friday 22 July

We have been looking at new audio assistance systems for use at the Beehive, jointly with the Town Council, and have booked a public demonstration by the supplier of the proposed system.

The planned new system will use ‘neck lanyards’. A receiver on the lanyard picks up a radio signal from transmitters in the auditorium and converts it into a form that can be picked up by a user wearing hearing aids on the T-setting.

The Town Clerk has arranged for the Council’s chosen supplier to demonstrate the new systems to potential users on Friday 22 July at 10.30 am.

The demonstration is an excellent opportunity to see the new system, try it out, and ask questions.

We invite you to attend, especially if you have impaired hearing.
